A chicken dish built around Sweet Sriracha, ready in about 55 minutes for 2 servings. Expect medium heat, a crispy edge without deep frying, and a sauce that gets dangerously addictive.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium russet potatoes
  • Avocado oil spray
  • Salt, to taste
  • SpiceX Sweet Sriracha seasoning, a generous shake (for the fries)
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp SpiceX Sweet Sriracha seasoning (for the chicken)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup light mayo (for the bang bang sauce)
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce (for the bang bang sauce)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (for the bang bang sauce)
  • 1/2 tsp SpiceX Sweet Sriracha seasoning (for the bang bang sauce)
  • Low-cal yogurt ranch, for drizzling
  • Sliced green onions, to finish

Directions

  1. Cut the fries: slice the russet potatoes into thin fries. For extra crispiness, soak them in cold water for 15 to 20 minutes, then pat completely dry.
  2. Season and cook the fries: spray with avocado oil, then toss with salt and a generous shake of Sweet Sriracha seasoning. Air fry at 400°F for 15 to 18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until golden and crispy. (Oven: 425°F for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping once.)
  3. Prep the chicken: toss the cubed chicken breast with salt, pepper, 1 tbsp Sweet Sriracha seasoning, and the cornstarch until evenly coated. The cornstarch is the trick for a crispy edge without deep frying.
  4. Cook the chicken: spray with avocado oil and air fry at 400°F for 9 to 11 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden outside and 165°F inside.
  5. Make the sauce: whisk together the light mayo, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and 1/2 tsp Sweet Sriracha seasoning until smooth.
  6. Assemble: pile the fries on a plate, top with the crispy chicken, and drizzle the bang bang sauce over everything. Finish with a drizzle of low-cal yogurt ranch and a handful of sliced green onions.

Chef's note: No air fryer? Everything works in a 425°F oven on a wire rack, it just takes a little longer. Meal prepping? Store the chicken, fries, and sauce separately and re-crisp in the air fryer for 3 to 4 minutes — sauce after reheating, not before. Want it spicier? Add more Sweet Sriracha to the sauce a pinch at a time; it builds fast, in a good way.
